Geologic information can be depicted in a number of different ways. 
1) Originally the black motor oil depicted was part of an animated sequence. 
2) This case was a complex series of  facts including historic water rights and environmental degradation. 
3) The information that allowed us to create this simplified view was a USGS map and an aerial view of the site.
4) Below ground water flows undermined faulty concrete throughout a housing development.
